Nelly Korda, fresh from her victorious participation in the 2024 Solheim Cup, is preparing to compete in the Kroger Queen City Championship. The tournament, held at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio, begins on September 19 and runs through September 22, offering a $2 million prize purse.

Korda, a key player in Team USA’s win over Europe, chose to skip the Solheim Cup victory party to focus on her performance in Ohio. In a pre-tournament press conference, she explained that she prioritized rest, going to bed early and opting for a more relaxed travel schedule, ensuring she would be in top form for the tournament.

Reflecting on her performance at the Solheim Cup, Korda played four matches, securing victories in both the fourball and two foursomes events. She partnered with Megan Khang and Allisen Corpuz, delivering crucial wins for Team USA.

However, in the singles match, she faced a tough loss to Charley Hull, falling by six holes with four remaining. Despite the defeat, Korda remains a formidable player as she prepares to tee off at 8:20 AM ET alongside Minjee Lee and Jeeno Thitikul in the first round of the Kroger Queen City Championship.
