Sims, who has been enjoying watching Koepka compete during the season, expressed how special this year was as it marked their son Crew’s first full season of golf.

She posted on Instagram, saying, “It was Crew’s first full season, so it will always be special,” adding her hopes for the Smash GC team to finish strong. Unfortunately, their season ended sooner than expected as Smash GC was knocked out in the first round by Ironheads GC, despite Koepka’s individual win over Kevin Na.

Jinichiro Kozuma’s clutch par in a playoff hole sealed the defeat for Smash GC, leaving Koepka and his team unable to advance. While Koepka displayed his dominance with a convincing win, it wasn’t enough to save his team from elimination.

Sims, who had cherished this season as a family milestone, now faces the end of Crew’s first golf season with disappointment. On a positive note, she hinted at exciting opportunities on the horizon, sharing her mantra, “I’m open to receiving,” as she prepares for new ventures while Koepka has some downtime.
