Brooks Koepka opens up on ‘horrible’ majors after making LIV Golf return

Brooks Koepka recently opened up about his underwhelming performances in this year’s major championships, describing his form as “horrible.” Despite a remarkable 2023 that saw him win two LIV Golf titles and his fifth major at the PGA Championship, Koepka struggled to replicate that success in 2024.

Reflecting on his year, Koepka admitted to being disappointed with his showings at the majors, where he managed to make the cut in all four but never contended for a win. His best finishes were tied-26th at both the PGA Championship and the US Open, with a low point coming at The Open, where he tied for 46th.

Koepka’s frustration is tempered by his solid performance in the opening round of the LIV Greenbrier tournament, where he shot a six-under-par 64 to sit just one stroke behind the leaders. With the LIV season nearing its end, Koepka is focused on improving his individual standings and finding form after what he describes as a disappointing year. He remains determined to finish strong, hoping to build momentum for the next season and regain his top-tier status in major competitions.
