Jennifer Aniston recently reflected on her iconic role in Friends, revealing that she doubts she’ll ever star in another sitcom. Speaking on the SmartLess podcast, Aniston shared that the experience of filming Friends was so exceptional, it would be hard to replicate.

“If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen,” she said. Aniston fondly recalled her time on the show, noting that it remains her favorite job to date and reminiscing about the filming schedule, which she called “the best schedule ever on the planet.”

The beloved series, which aired from 1994 to 2004, made global stars out of Aniston and her co-stars David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry. Friends remains one of the most popular sitcoms even 20 years after its finale, which was watched by 52 million people in the U.S. Aniston has continued her

successful career, most recently starring in The Morning Show on AppleTV+. While her former castmates have also pursued various TV roles, Perry tragically passed away in 2023.
