Nelly Korda, the world’s top-ranked golfer, has taken some time off after a demanding season, opting out of the 2024 NW Arkansas Championship. Recently, Korda shared a selfie from New York City, where she’s enjoying a break from her grueling schedule.
In the Instagram post, she was seen at Devoción Flatiron, a well-known coffee spot in Manhattan, holding a takeaway cup and dressed casually in a green shirt and jacket. Korda’s recent achievements include winning six LPGA Tour titles, securing her second major at the Chevron Championship, and placing T2 at the AIG Women’s Open. She also represented the U.S. at the Paris Olympics and helped the U.S. team win the Solheim Cup.
Despite her break, Korda’s 2024 season is far from over. After her T5 finish at the Kroger Queen City Championship, she hinted at the toll the season has taken but expressed her continued passion for the sport.
Korda is next scheduled to compete at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea from October 17 to 20. Before her New York visit, she was spotted at Merion East Golf Club in Pennsylvania, further fueling speculation about her next moves.
