Nelly Korda recently reflected on a fan incident from the final round of the 2022 Evian Championship, a moment that still makes her laugh. During the tournament, a fan unexpectedly picked up her ball after it landed on the spectator’s walking path near the sixth hole.

The fan triumphantly raised the ball before approaching an official, leading to a humorous comment from broadcaster Grant Boone, who said, “It’s not a souvenir!… she’s in big trouble now.” This memorable moment resurfaced when CBS Golf shared the video on Instagram, and Korda responded by resharing it on her story with the caption, “Still kills me.”

Despite the unusual incident, Korda went on to finish tied for eighth at the 2022 Evian Championship, ending with a score of 13-under 271. Looking back at her 2024 season, Korda continued her impressive form with multiple victories, including wins at the LPGA Drive-On Championship, FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship, and the Ford Championship.

She has had a stellar year, bouncing back from some missed cuts to clinch titles and solidify her standing as one of the top players on the LPGA Tour. As the season winds down, Korda is gearing up for her next major tournaments, including the BMW Ladies Championship and the CME Group Tour Championship.
