Charley Hull, one of the most recognizable names in women’s golf, has opened up about her smoking habits, which garnered attention after a viral video during the 2024 US Women’s Open. In a candid interview on the LeBatard Show, Hull revealed that she typically smokes around five cigarettes per round.
However, the 28-year-old golfer expressed her strong desire to quit, sharing that she made a promise to herself and her friends to stop smoking. Hull emphasized that fans would no longer see her smoking in future tournaments as she works toward quitting.
In addition to her smoking habits, Hull discussed her limited interaction with social media. Despite having over 664,000 followers on Instagram, Hull disclosed that she doesn’t manage her account personally. Her agent handles her posts, allowing Hull to focus on real-life experiences and avoid the distractions of social media. Although she acknowledges the promotional benefits of a large following, Hull prefers to keep her distance from the platform, focusing instead on her golf career and personal well-being.
