Emma Raducanu receives very special gift after having £125k Porsche ‘taken away’

Emma Raducanu, the British tennis sensation, recently received a unique gift—a new Dacia Sandero—after reports emerged that her £125,000 Porsche had been taken back by the luxury carmaker. Raducanu had been associated with Porsche as a brand ambassador following her remarkable 2021 US Open victory, where she was often seen driving a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.

Despite losing the high-end vehicle, Raducanu’s down-to-earth approach has remained evident. The Romanian car manufacturer Dacia, a brand she holds dear due to her father’s heritage, stepped in to offer her a new car, continuing her connection to the brand she first embraced after passing her driving test.

This gift from Dacia came after Raducanu was seen driving her old, second-hand Sandero, which she bought for £5,000 shortly after earning her license. Dacia, capitalizing on her previous support for their brand, shared a message of loyalty on social media, emphasizing reliability and sending her a newly wrapped Sandero. Raducanu, even in the midst of her injuries, remains a sought-after figure for sponsorships, with brands like Porsche still occasionally lending her cars.
