‘Finally Got to the Good Side’: Jordan Spieth Disses Nike, While Offering Tiger Woods a New Sponsor

Tiger Woods’ recent split from Nike has stirred up plenty of conversation, and while Woods has remained tight-lipped about his next sponsor, fellow golfer Jordan Spieth has weighed in with some advice. In a recent interview with Forbes, Spieth suggested that Woods should consider joining the Under Armour team, which Spieth himself endorses.

Spieth expressed his preference for the brand, cheekily encouraging Woods to “finally go to the good side.” He even offered to send Woods a pair of Under Armour shoes to try, highlighting the brand’s reliability in all weather conditions. The two share a strong friendship, with Spieth looking out for Woods as both a mentor and a peer.

As Woods contemplates his next move in the competitive world of golf sponsorship, several major brands are in the mix. Woods has been using TaylorMade equipment since Nike ceased producing golf clubs, making them a strong contender for his apparel deal as well.

Adidas is another option, especially since Woods’ agency, Excel Sports, already has ties with the brand through rising star Rose Zhang. Rumors have also circulated about a possible deal with Greyson, sparked by interest in Woods’ son, Charlie. Whatever decision Woods makes, the golfing world is eagerly awaiting his next big move.
