Lucas Herbert, the Australian golf star, has expressed his satisfaction with his decision to join LIV Golf after leaving the PGA Tour for the 2024 season. Herbert’s season came to a successful close last month as he helped Ripper GC claim the Team Championship, alongside Cam Smith, Marc Leishman, and Matt Jones. This success, coupled with a more relaxed playing schedule, has left him feeling confident in his decision to join LIV Golf. Reflecting on the camaraderie within the league, Herbert highlighted the unique opportunity to receive guidance from fellow stars like Smith.

“I am comfortably, comfortably better this year,” he said, citing the support he’s received from his teammates. For Herbert, the balance between competition and personal development in LIV Golf has been a game-changer, setting the stage for continued growth in his career.
