Scottie Scheffler recently shared insights into his financial arrangement with caddie Ted Scott after a record-breaking 2024 season on the PGA Tour. Scheffler’s impressive performance, including his second Masters title and a victory in the FedEx Cup, earned him a staggering £47 million.

As per the common arrangement in professional golf, caddies typically receive 10% of their player’s earnings from victories, 7% for top-10 finishes, and 5% for other events. For Scott, this amounted to over £2 million even before the FedEx Cup win, making him one of the highest-earning caddies in the sport.

During a recent podcast, Scheffler explained the practicalities of managing such earnings, revealing that he relies on financial assistance to keep track of payments, including what’s owed to Scott. He described their partnership as more than just financial, emphasizing their shared Christian faith as a crucial bond.

Scheffler noted that their collaboration has been successful both on and off the course, with Scott previously working for Bubba Watson for over 15 years before teaming up with the current world number one.
