Jordan Spieth’s Support System
Jordan Spieth has a strong support system both on and off the green, primarily his wife, Annie Verret. The high school sweethearts got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2018. In November 2021, they welcomed their first child, Sammy, followed by their daughter, Sophie, in September 2023.
Relationship Journey
Verret and Spieth’s relationship dates back to their high school days. While attending different colleges in Texas, they remained close. Spieth pursued golf at the University of Texas, while Verret obtained her business degree from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. Eventually, they returned to Dallas, where they currently reside.
Family Life and Career
Verret balances her role as a supportive wife with her professional endeavors. She gave birth to Sammy in 2021 and Sophie in 2023, and the couple also shares a black lab named Silo. Professionally, Verret previously worked as an event coordinator, notably with organizations focused on children’s well-being and golf empowerment programs.
Involvement in Philanthropy and Sports
Verret and Spieth are actively engaged in philanthropy through their foundation, which supports various causes such as special needs, junior golf, military families, and pediatric cancer. Despite not being a golf pro herself, Verret regularly accompanies Spieth to major tournaments and even tried her hand at caddying. Her discreet support and occasional strategic advice have been acknowledged by Spieth, contributing to his professional success.
