Team USA captain Stacy Lewis acknowledged that the situation has been “awkward,” particularly given that the European team’s activities spill over onto the driving range, where the U.S. players warm up.

Despite this, Lewis emphasized that both teams have worked through the issues, and there is no lingering animosity. Adjustments were made, including rearranging the practice areas to give each team their own space, diffusing any potential conflict.

However, rumors circulated that Team USA believed Europe might have breached some regulations, prompting the two teams to switch positions on the driving range. While Team USA seemed less than thrilled with the arrangements, Team Europe’s Anna Nordqvist expressed satisfaction with their setup, praising the positive atmosphere within their camp.
