“We’re going to relieve him of most of his duties” – Jim Furyk opens up about replacing Keegan Bradley as vice-captain for Presidents Cup

Jim Furyk recently announced that Keegan Bradley will step down from his role as vice-captain for the Presidents Cup to focus on competing as a player. After an impressive 2024 season, highlighted by his victory at the BMW Championship and a strong performance in the FedEx Cup, Bradley secured a spot on the U.S. team.

Furyk explained that balancing both roles would be unfair to Bradley, who has earned his place as a player. Therefore, Bradley will be released from most of his vice-captain duties, allowing him to prepare fully for the tournament. Furyk has yet to name a replacement for Bradley’s leadership role.
